Suga The Rock Candy

Suga was established in 1998 with the help of Master Danish confectioner Nils Nilsson who has over 40 years’ experience working his craft. Their first store opened in the historic Royal Arcade and quickly established a following of loyal and passionate customers of all ages.

Since then the company has become a memorable part of the patchwork fabric of Melbourne, Australia reflecting many of the special qualities that are associated with the city. Suga has three outlets across Melbourne to meet the demand for our special lollies. Suga has received international recognition in media and travel stories that profile Melbourne and has been featured in The Age Good Food Guide.

I have been to their shop in Melbourne several times and I watch how they create and design the shape of these crazy candies with delicious taste. They make special candies for events such as weddings, birthdays, new babies arrived and parties with written names inside the candies.

Lavender

Lavender, one of my favorite flowers in my home garden. The lavenders (Lavandula) are a genus of 39 species of flowering plants in the mint family, Lamiaceae. An Old World genus, distributed from Macaronesia (Cape Verde and Canary Islands and Madeira) across Africa, the Mediterranean, South-West Asia, Arabia, Western Iran and South-East India. It is thought the genus originated in Asia but is most diversified in its western distribution.

The leaves are long and narrow in most species. In other species they are pinnately toothed, or pinnate, sometimes multiple pinnate and dissected. Flowers are borne in whorls, held on spikes rising above the foliage. Flowers may be blue, violet or lilac. The calyx is tubular, with five lobes. The corolla is often asymmetric.

Medicinal use, Lavender is used extensively with herbs and aromatheraph. A recent clinical study investigated anxiolytic effects and influence on sleep quality. Lavender oil with a high percentage of Linalool and linalyl acetate, in form of capsules, was generally well tolerated. It showed meaningful efficacy in alleviating anxiety and related sleep disturbances.

Other uses for Lavender flowers, it used to design and create special candles perfumes with different uses and also bath gel. The smell of the Lavender flowers gave me the power and active and also it give me a sense of calm and relaxation, I feel myself standing in the midst of the land planted with the Lavender flowers and smell of lavender always give me a exhilaration
